I may not know the thrill of singing with Broadway icons or nurturing a theatrical masterpiece, but I do know the art of eating too much sushi while hoping no one realizes I have no idea what I’m doing. This was such a beautiful read! I’m excited to see where this journey takes you!

You’re such a badass women!!! Reading this made me realize how I felt when I did Evita in high school and it was my first musical ever and I had such bad anxiety about it because my director had favorites and she always yelled at me.

I'd say give yourself a little grace here. Imposter syndrome is real and common I'm sure. Especially in an overthinker. I think it’s kind of like, say learning an instrument like the piano. You know you've practiced the piece hundreds of times but if you start to think too much about what your fingers are doing, you will sometimes sabotage yourself. Maybe it’s kind of like an internationalized stage fright. Also, babies are more resilient than you’d think. Odds are any screw-up can be rectified without too much heartache.
